These cinematic works have undergone meticulous 4K restoration, a process personally overseen by the Palme d’Or laureate. This significant acquisition bolsters The Match Factory's existing catalog of Weerasethakul's films and is set to be a focal point for sales at the forthcoming Venice Film Festival, underscoring the enduring artistic and commercial value of his unique vision.

The newly added titles to The Match Factory's portfolio include several of Weerasethakul’s most celebrated early works. Among them is 'Blissfully Yours' (2002), a recipient of the Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes, known for its contemplative narrative and distinctive visual style. Another notable inclusion is 'Tropical Malady' (2004), which earned the prestigious Cannes Jury Prize, exploring themes of identity and desire through its enigmatic storytelling. 'Syndromes and a Century' (2006), a film that debuted in competition at the Venice Film Festival, is also part of this collection, recognized for its exploration of memory and spiritual dimensions.
